We The People of the Planet-Our Global warming solutions
I asked my friends on Twitter, what they would put on a list that would help heal our planet's problem with climate warming, and they came up with some terrific ideas and concepts. Here is a list of what they feel would be beneficial to our planet, and for humanity.
Plant trees in the rain forests as they cut down
Make a law that you HAVE to replant if you cut down a tree anywhere
Write your congressman/local leaders-express your concerns
Take individual action-DO your part
Reduce your carbon footprint by recycling EVERYTHING
Lobby to get local govt to recycle all
Heavy industry companies could receive government grants to find ways of cutting down sulphurous emissions & toxic waste
Implement programs such as http://www.nourishamerica.org/ who are working for many children whom are going hungry.
Set up proper places for recycling deposits, not just on the streets
Unit all humanity in this effort
TV campaigns encouraging people to walk, bus or cycle
Pay attention to youth and our children of America 17 million without food and go hungry.
Pay attention to people around the planet, millions suffer and die because of unbalance and greed
Governments of different countries should collaborate on schemes to re-plant deforested areas where there is land slippage
Reminding ourselves (1) what community is and (2) how to be good community members is a good start...
Scientists could look at irrigation of desert areas to try to solve damage to delicate eco systems, & animal extinctions
Be kind to ourselves AND others. Send Mother Earth some love. Plant and nurture trees.
Re-use plastic bags, jars, cofffee containers, can your own veggies, have a compost pile (they are great), fix your vehicle/maintenance
Old recipies would be good: love more the neighbor and hate none, nor the bad, forgive them for bad acting
Teaching children respect
No more SUVs, no Mc Donald's/BK..., no A/Cs, no fake snow...
Create a home-grown garden
Research must be done to repair the hole in the ozone layer
Every person in the world should plant at least two trees during his life
Realize that the planet is for each individual
More conservation work done to protect bees, since their pollenation is key to plant life & eco systems
More research into how to harness & control the weather, so that arid areas can get more rain and flood areas less
Instead of grass, everyone should plant a vegetable garden, because edible gardens are tasty
Take the politics out of taking care of our planet.
Alternative fuels
Animal rights
Pollution laws
Garbage recycling
Global policies
International agreements with penalties
Use music to help
Change concepts, values, real understanding of divine human nature, the right to live
Stop having kids
Vote-Pay attention to who you pick as a leader
